Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Paradies, I found myself weighing the luxury experience against the value it purportedly offers. Nestled amid stunning landscapes, this eco-resort boasts a range of amenities that cater to both relaxation and adventure. The welcome drink upon arrival set a pleasant tone, and the in-room breakfast service was a convenience that my family appreciated, particularly with two young daughters in tow. The room itself was well-appointed, featuring air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle-essentials that enhanced our stay without feeling overly extravagant. The soundproofed rooms provided a quiet retreat after our hiking excursions, which is a must, as Vancouver's outdoors is never far from our minds. While the on-site restaurant offered a commendable menu, the value shines with the access to the seasonal outdoor pool and a cozy bar/lounge area where we could unwind. I'd say the price tag reflects a blend of luxury and functional offerings, catering to families like ours who are looking for both comfort and adventure. If you're eyeing a getaway that balances exquisite nature views with thoughtful amenities, Paradies makes a sound choice without breaking the bank.
